What is integrative medicine?
Integrative medicine describes the medical discipline that employs a holistic approach to patient care addressing their mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. It looks at each person, individually and utilizes a whole-body approach to optimize health and wellness. Integrative medicine will often use both traditional and alternative medicine modalities, when appropriate, to provide the best care possible.
